Artificial Flower Jewellery Sets: How to Choose and Style Them
How to choose an artificial flower jewellery set: shell, acrylic, resin or mixed flowers, the pieces a set includes, colours and styling tips.

An artificial flower jewellery set rebuilds the look of fresh blossoms in lasting materials such as shell, acrylic, resin, beads and pearls, so it keeps its shape and colour all day and can be worn again. Choose the material first, then check which pieces the set includes, then match its colours to your outfit.
This guide is for brides and guests choosing a floral set for haldi, mehndi or another pre-wedding function. It is based on what our product pages say about each set. For mehndi in particular, read our guide to floral jewellery for mehndi.
What an artificial flower jewellery set is
Fresh flower jewellery is woven from real blossoms and lasts for one occasion. An artificial flower jewellery set takes the same idea, a necklace, earrings and often a maang tikka and hand piece covered in flowers, and makes each flower from a material that does not wilt.
That brings three practical differences:
- It lasts the whole function. The petals keep their shape from the first photograph to the last.
- You choose the colour. You are not limited to the flowers in season.
- You can wear it again. A set bought for a haldi can come out again for a mehndi, a sangeet or a friend's wedding.
The materials, and how each one looks

Our collections are organised by material, which is the easiest way to start.
- Sea shell and cowrie. White cowrie shells are shaped into petals or hung as drops. All 19 sets in our sea shell and cowrie jewellery collection describe shell or cowrie, and 16 add pearls. Shell gives a light, natural look.
- Acrylic. Acrylic petals can be clear, tinted or bright. All 23 sets in our acrylic flower collection mention pearls alongside the flowers.
- Resin. Resin flowers are glossy and hold an even colour. Our resin flower jewellery guide covers them in detail.
- Mixed flowers and beads. Our flower jewellery sets combine shaped roses and daisies with pearls, beads and shells. Of its 18 sets, 15 descriptions mention pearls, 8 roses and 5 daisies.
The Sunshine Yellow Rose set, pictured at the top, shows how materials combine. Its description lists bright yellow rose accents, white cowrie shell petals and cascading pearl-style strands.
Pieces in a set

Not every set has the same pieces, so read the description before you order.
- Necklace and earrings. The core of almost every set. A choker sits close to the neck; a longer necklace suits a deep neckline.
- Maang tikka. In our flower jewellery sets, 16 of 18 descriptions include one.
- Haathphool. A hand piece joining a bracelet and ring. Ten of the 18 flower sets include a haathphool or hand harness.
- Rings and bracelets. Some sets add these. The Sunshine Yellow Rose set includes a floral ring and bracelet.
If your set has no hand piece, a resin haathphool can be added on its own. The Bespoke Grace resin hand harness, pictured in this section, drapes resin flowers across the back of the hand, and its page says lightweight resin flowers keep it comfortable for extended wear.
Choosing colours

- Plain outfit: pick a bright or multicolour set, so the jewellery carries the colour.
- Printed or embroidered outfit: choose one or two colours from the print.
- Pastel outfit: lavender, blush or sky blue sets keep the look soft. The Lavender Purple acrylic set, pictured in this section, has light purple and transparent petals with white pearls, and its page suggests it with pastel lehengas and sarees.
- White or ivory outfit: almost any colour works; a white shell set gives a tonal look.
Check the colours against your real fabric in daylight, not only on a screen.
Where to wear an artificial flower set
Floral sets are made for the pre-wedding functions. Across 148 of our product descriptions, haldi is named in 108 and mehndi in 77, and many also name the wedding, sangeet or engagement. Because the sets last, one set can cover two functions on the same day.
Styling tips
- One focal point. With a statement necklace, keep the earrings smaller, or the other way round.
- Hair up for big earrings. A bun or sleek style shows floral earrings and a maang tikka best.
- Repeat one element. If your necklace uses shell, a shell hair piece or kalire ties the look together.
- Do a trial. Wear the set for an hour before the day to see how it sits.
Custom orders
If you want a colour the collections do not have, Floral Jewellery takes custom orders. Our home page says to email info@floraljewellery.in, and to place a custom order as early as you can before your function.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an artificial flower jewellery set?
It is a set of floral jewellery, usually a necklace, earrings and often a maang tikka and haathphool, made from lasting materials such as shell, acrylic, resin, beads and pearls instead of fresh flowers.
Can I wear artificial flower jewellery more than once?
Yes. Unlike fresh flowers, the petals keep their shape, so one set can be worn at more than one function.

Floral Jewellery takes custom orders. Email info@floraljewellery.in, as our home page says, and order as early as you can before your function.
